1. Load


Heavy-duty rubber casters have a load of about 300-400kg, and poor crack and tear resistance. The load-bearing capacity of polyurethane casters is about twice that of rubber wheels. Polyurethane casters have excellent crack growth resistance, tear resistance and oxidation resistance, and good wear resistance.


2. Ground imprints


During the use of rubber wheels, it is easy to leave carbon black marks on the ground. The basic chemical composition of polyurethane materials determines that polyester casters will not leave marks on the ground, and even colorful wheels will not leave any traces of colorants on the ground.


3. Aging resistance


When rubber casters are in contact with organic solvents for a long time, they are prone to swelling, and their tear strength and anti-collapse and anti-blocking capabilities will also be weakened. Even if polyurethane casters are exposed to these solvents for a long time, the various properties will remain unchanged and the wheels will not be corroded.


4. Hardness and resilience


The Shore A hardness of rubber wheels is usually 67-75 degrees, which is relatively low. The hardness of urethane wheels is as high as 83-95 degrees. Under the premise of safety, the use of polyurethane casters can not only ensure a certain buffering capacity, but also have a large load-bearing capacity and low rolling resistance. The hardness and resilience of the wheels of polyurethane materials can be adjusted according to customer requirements and the use environment.


5. Raw materials of casters


The production of rubber wheels is easy to pollute, and the production efficiency is low. The raw materials can be mixed with recycled materials, and there will be odor. The wheel surface of polyurethane casters has higher requirements. All raw materials are used, no odor, and recycled materials cannot be mixed.
